Garrez (1872: 213) compares the first line with Sakuntala, verse 91 (ed. Böhtlingk): garuan pi virahadukkham āsābandho sahābedi. For ās āvaṁdha earlier Weber (Abh., p. 88) referred to Meghadūta 11 (ed. Hultzsch).
