138. Sobhakara cites this gatha as an example of the figure Parabhaga, and thus
remarks : अत्रासद्रूपात कालकूटात् तथाविधस्यैव खलवचनस्य तदवगमे महत्त्वप्रतीति: । - पृ. १७३. 139. पुत्तय = पुत्रक (voc. sing.). My son !; अंजलिं पणमिसि ( = अञ्जलिम् अर्पयसि ) - You pay
homage (lit. you are lowering your folded hands); सूर-च्छेलेण = सूर्यनमस्कारच्छलेन (under the pretext of paying homage); उम्मीस = उन्मिश्र mixed with, accompanied by; नोक्कारा = जयकारा:., ('जय जयेत्यादिका: स्तुतय: ) salutations; Sobhakara cites this gatha as an example of the figure Udbheda, newly added by him. He defines it as follows : निगूढस्य प्रतिभेद उद्भेद: I After citing it, he thus comments upon it: अत्र वातायनस्थितां प्रच्छन्नकामुकी प्रति तदभिलषितचौर्यरताभ्युपगमार्थमञ्जलिर्बद्धः सूर्योपस्थानमिषेण
प्रच्छादितोऽपि हासकटाक्षादिना मया चेतित:, इति निगूढप्रतिभेदः । - पृ. १७४. 140. The reading TEKST and its rendering into Sanskrit Feedy are not sastisfactory.
Elsewhere the reading found is : गहवइसुउचिएसु (= गृहपतिसुतोचितेषु - गहवइसुअ (गृहपतिसुत, the householder's / farmer's son); उच्चिअ (= उचित = gathered and taken away); फलहीणेसु (फलहीनेषु) in the present context makes no sense. This gāthā is already dealt with; vide ŚP S. No. (422.129) supra. Sobhākara cites it as an example of the figure Udbhedaḥ, and thus comments upon it: अत्रोन्नतकर्पासवाटिकास्थितनिभृतरमणसङ्गगमार्थं गता उचितकर्पासेष्वपि वृत्तेषु (? वृन्तेषु) तदुपगृहनेन प्रस्विन्नं । वृथैव करं भ्रमयतीति काचिद् विदग्धा सखीं बोधयति । - पृ. १७४.

comment : अत्र केनचित् प्रार्थितस्य कयाचिद् अभ्युपगम: कृतोऽङ्गस्वेदोद्भिन्न: । एवमादौ च प्रतिभेदस्य शब्दोपात्तत्वाद् उद्भेदो वाच्य: । - पृ. १७४.
