629 अत्र रिपूणां जितानां मोक्षाद् अन्येषां वधाचेति विरुद्धाकारणद्वयाद् विमलत्वेनाविलक्षणं धर्मयशोरूपकार्यद्वयमुपनिबद्धम् । - पृ.१०४.
62. The figure in the stanza is Visama (III). Sobhakara comments on it thus :
अत्रोन्नतत्वाद् गुणाद् विरुद्धस्य नतत्वस्योत्पत्ति: । प्र. १०६.
63. The figure in the stanza is Vişama (IV). Sobhākara comments on this stanza
as follows: अत्र रविमण्डलस्य पातालपङ्कलाञ्छनं नासम्भाव्य: संयोग: । (? लाञ्छनम् असम्भाव्यसंयोग:) । -पृ. १०६.
64. Note : In place of the third line "तत् (? तथा)" etc., read ता / तह किं विहिणा एसो,
सरसवाणीओ (? सरसअवाणीओ) जलणिही ण कओ ।। This gāthā is already dealt with; vide KP S. No. (64.435) supra. The figure in the stanza, according to Sobhākara, is Visama (V); He remarks: अत्र गभीरतादीनां धर्माणां सरसपानीयत्वस्य सरसवाणीकत्वस्य वा विरहाद् असमग्रत्वम् । (Note : कारणानामर्थान्तराणां वा समग्रत्वाभाव: पञ्चमं विषमम् । - पृ. १०५). According to Mammata, this is an example of the figure Samkara (II) . (समासोक्त्यप्रस्तुतप्रशंसयो: संदेहसंकरः ।)
65: Note: The second half of this verse is metrically defective. If we read the earlier
part of the second half as थणआअत्तं (जइ) पेम्म [ (स्तनका =) स्तनायत्तं यदि प्रेम], the stanza answers the criteria of the gathā metre. The stanza is an example of the figure Sama. Sot akara comments on it thus : मुखप्रेक्षकत्वादिकस्य सजातीयस्य धर्मस्य --- चोत्पाद: । - पृ. १०८.
66. This gātha is already dealt with; vide DHV S. No: (45.15) supra.
The figure in the stanza, according to Sobhākara, is Sama. He remarks: 3431 दुहितादिरूपाणां लक्ष्म्यादीनामनुरूपाणां शोभनानां संयोगः । ।
67. उप्पाइअ (उत्पादित =) अर्जित earned; भाअणं (भाजनम्) recepient or beneficiary; णिंब (3
निम्बफलानि) the nimba berries are bitter in taste even when ripe. The figure in the stanza is Sama. Sobhakara remarks : अत्र खलस्य खलान्तरमेव निम्बस्य चाशोभनस्य काका एव तादृशा उपजीवकत्वेन निबद्धाः । - पृ. १०८.
68. एत्थ : अत्र (Correct the chaya accordingly).
