as 'महमहायमान-लावण्याम्' and paraphrases it as 'उत्सवोत्सवायमानलावण्याम'.
Hemacandra lays down in his Prakrit grammar :
From this gloss it would seem that we are not justified in using it with reference to 'लावण्यम्'. Prof. K. S. Arjunwadkar however holds that metaphorically it can be used with reference to लावण्य (p. 833 f.n.1). The Prakrit word मघमघ or महमह seems to be onomatopoeic and seems to be akin to Marathi 'घमघमणे.
64. The fourth quarter is emended as 'सरसअ-वाणीओ जलणिही ण कओं in accordance with
Prof. S. K. Arjunwadkar's suggestion (vide p. 846). Mammata cites this gatha as an example of समासोक्त्यप्रस्तुतप्रशंसयोः संदेहसंकरः। .
This stanza is later quoted by Narendraprabhasūti in his Alamkāramahodadhi and by Sobhākara in his Alamkararatnākara.
