सहि पाएसु छिवंती पिओ व्व कि वेलवेसि मं सुअंतिं । एहि णिमज्जसु पासे, पाउअ मुहिआ ण मुणिआमो ( ? ) ||
( सखि पादयोः स्पृशन्ती प्रिय इव किं वञ्चयसे मां स्वपन्तीम् ।
एहि शेष्व पार्श्वे प्रावृतमुख्यौ न ज्ञास्यावहे || )

1244. See ŚP S. No. (336.112) above. This gāthā illustrates Suptopadhāna; supta means sleep, asleep.
1245. Bhoja cites this gāthā as an example of the pleasure a proud' nāyikā obtains on seeing her husband / lover falling at her feet (pāda-patana ).
1246. See ŚP S. No. (1124.249) above. Bhoja cites this gāthā here as an example of prasahyaśleṣa i.e., embracing forcibly, a (light and close) embrace by using force.
1247. See ŚP S. No. ( 321. 109 ). Bhoja cites here this gāthā as an example of cumbana - balātkāra i.e., (impetuous and ) forced kissings.
1248. See SP S. No. (1094.244). Bhoja cites this skandhaka here as an example of Upālambhoktih i.e, speech marked by taunts, speaking tauntingly.
1249. Bhoja cites this gāthā as an example of sneha pariksā- ( sneha love, attachment to, friendship with; parīksā test, examination).

1250. Note: Please read in Vol. I ( p. 272) पिअ गरुइआऍ. Bhoja cites thos skandhaka as an example of vipaksābhibhava (vipaksa - one's rival in love) abhibhava-humiliation, mortification, disregard, disrespect.
णिव्वलंतसिणेहं (णिव्वल = णिव्वड, पृथक् स्पष्टे णिव्वड | H. 8-4-62), so णिव्वलंत = स्पष्टीभवन्; गरुइआऍ = गुरूकृतया; सौभाग्यगुणानाम् अग्रभूम्यां पदं न्यस्तम् - "set her foot on the pinnacle of the qualities that constitute a woman's good fortune (attractiveness in relation to her husband)." g is to be read as for the sake of metre. SK (p. 678, v. 350 ) cites this skandhaka with the utthānikā : "कथाव्यापिनी नायिका यथा -" ŚP (p. 1224) cites this skandhaka as an illustration of रतिप्रकर्षोदय: शृङ्गारवृद्धिः । यथा -.
"तत्र रतिप्रकर्षनिमित्ताभिलषणीयालिङ्गनाद्यवाप्तिहेतवः, प्रियसन्दर्शन- प्रमोदवृद्ध्यादयः संभोगशब्दवाच्या भवन्ति ।" शृङ्गारप्रकाश, पृ. १२२४.
