it here as an example of (अभावानुराग-) प्रागभाव.
809. Read - Cf. GS III. 12. There the first half reads :
जो जस्य विहवसारो तं सो देइ त्ति किं त्थ अच्छेरं । (यो यस्य विभवसारस्तं स ददातीति किमत्राश्चर्यम् ।)
Bhoja cites this gatha as an example of (अभावानुराग-) अत्यन्ताभाव.
810. Bhoja cites this gatha as an example of (अभावानुराग-) सर्वाभाव. Dr. H. C. Bhayani
reconstructs the gātha as follows : गामं पलाससेसं सुमरण-सेसा कुटुंग-परिवाडि । अम्हे वि जीअ-सेसा पेम्मस्स ण अत्थि सेसं पि ॥ (ग्राम: पलाश-शेष: स्मरण-शेषा निकुञ्ज-श्रेणी । वयमपि जीवितशेषा: प्रेम्ण: नास्ति शेषमपि ।) This restoration is by far the best. See translation.
811. Bhoja treats of six minor शब्दप्रमाणs, following Jaimini's sutras (Chapter II) to
decide भेद : 1 शब्दान्तर 2 अभ्यास 3 संज्ञा 4 संख्या 5 गुण and 6 प्रकरण. He cites this gatha to illustrate शब्दान्तरभेद (and love through it). Dr. H. C. Bhayani presents this gatha in his Muktaka-Madhuri (Gujarati) in the following form :-- वंदं कीराण णहे पहिआण पहे मआण छेत्तम्मि । तुह कलम-गोवि छोक्कारण-रव-रसिअं न चलइ पअं || - (p. 144, v. 145). Later in reply to my query about 'छोक्कारण-रव-रसिअं' he wrote: "छोक्कारण-रसिन चलइ पअंपि।। would be the best. PSM gives the word under छुक्कारण (from बृह.क.भा.) and, I think, wrongly equates it with PETARUT. It means making shouting noises to scare away birds and animals eating away crops. PSM notes also 'छुच्छुक्कर' to make noises to call dogs, etc.".
812. Bhoja cites this gathā to illustrate 'अभ्यासाद् भेद:'. He thus explains his point :
अत्र दर्शनादिभि: प्रेम अपैति इति वाच्ये अवेइ (Sk. अपैति) इति पदाभ्यास: प्रेमभेदं बोधयति । कस्यचिद्दर्शनेन कस्यचिददर्शनेन कस्यचित् पिशुनजनजल्पितेन कस्यचिद् एवमेव इति । - पृ. ८८७.
813. Read सचं सण्णा (? धण्णा) धण्णा, जा तइआ केसवेण गिरिधरणे ।
