I know little about अद्दाअ-विजा - nothing more than what PSM says : "चिकित्सा का एक प्रकार, जिससे बीमार को दर्पण में प्रतिबिम्बित कराने से वह नीरोग होता है ।" Bhoja cites this gatha as an example of विप्रलम्भ (स्वाङ्गनाविषय).
750. Bhoja cites this gatha as an example of विप्रलम्भ (परकीयाविषय). The portion of the
second half of this gatha as printed in Mysore edn. (p. 831), सासे सिहिखंडखंडेहि is obscure.
The verse may be translated as follows : My mistress just missed to catch a glimpse of you, dear young man, as you slipped post her house and she heaved a heavy sigh right her husband's nose.
753. This gātha is already dealt with; vide SP S. No. (233.92) supra. Bhoja cites
it here as an example of विप्रलम्भ (मुग्धाविषय). SK (p. 643, v. 254) cites it with the introductory remark : "प्रवासे व्याविद्धं यथा -" and thus comments upon it: अत्रैकस्यापि दिवसंस्य वर्षायमाणतया विशेषतो (प्रियालिङ्गनादिवञ्चनया) दैर्ध्य प्रतीयते । - सरस्वती पू. ६४३.
754. Read the third quarter of the gatha as : बहुलपओसेण व तुए and its chāya 'बहुल-प्रदोषेणेव
त्वया'. Bhoja cites this gatha as an example of विप्रलम्भ (मध्यमा-विषय).
755. Bhoja cites this gatha to illustrate विप्रलम्भ (प्रगल्भाविषय). Further on p. 930, S.
No. (916.214) he cites it to illustrate 'मनसि चिन्ता'.
756. Bhoja cites this gatha to illustrate विप्रलम्भ (सर्वविषय). The gatha, as presented,
is metrically defective. If we were to read जणस्स चिअ (Sk. जनस्यैव), the metre would not be violated.
757. Bhoja cites this gatha as an example of विप्रलम्भ (वसन्तचर्याविषय) : अत्र काचित प्रोषितभर्तका
कयाचित् कुशलं पृष्टा तां प्रति मम क्षेमं कुत: कुत:। निर्वेदातिशयाद् द्विरुक्तिः। मम गृहाङ्गणे योऽसौ कुब्जाम्रस्तस्य शिरसि कोऽप्यनर्थ इति मञ्जरीमेनां दृष्ट्वा कथंजीवामीत्यभिप्राय:। --- वेमभूपाल, पृ. २७. "किं पि refers to a spray of mango-blossoms. Its sight is unbearable to lovers in separation."
