Kuntaka cites this gāthā as an example of the figure Akşepa. “Suggestion by way of a denial for the sake of heightening the beauty or charm of the main subject matter" constitutes the figure Aksepa. This example is later cited in A'sarvasva by Ruyyaka in the same context (vide A Sarvasva S.No. (42.444) infra.
