ages of 18 and 22 to participate.

Successful candidates will have the opportunity to visit West Bengal, India. The group will study the salient aspects of life of the local people from the viewpoints of economy, education, culture, public health, and environment. The group will then proceed to New Delhi and will meet with Indian dignitaries. Eight contestants will be chosen to participate in the Bharat Yatra III. The group journeying to India will depart US on November 23,2001 and will return on December 8, 2001. The all-expense-paid trip to India includes national and international transportation, housing, and meals.
