A Biographical Sketch of the Author
His Holiness Acharyadev
SRI GUNARATNA SURISHWARJI MAHARAJ
Blessed is the country in which he was born ! Born in an Indian village Padarli and educated in B'bay through English medium, he abandoned all the worldly sensual enjoyments for leading a better life of Jain Saint hood. He devoted his life at the reverend feet of His Holiness Jain Acharya Prem Suriji, a farfamed scholar of Karma Philosophy. And was duly declared a pupil of Jain Acharya Jitendra Suriji, who is an obedeint disciple of Jain Acharya Bhuvan Bhanu Suriji.
Showing a better way and a better vision, he is a guide, leader and perfect teacher inspiring the youths at every pace and at every word. His sole motive is to uplift the morale of Youths... the only base of building a better age and Universe.
He is a distinguised author and preacher and a renowned scholar of Karma Philosophy, the heart of Jainism. His authentic work over Karma Philosophy "Kshapak Shreni" attracted the appraisal of German scholars like Klaus Bruhn of Berlin University.
His other works in Indian language include, Kahin Murjha Na Jhaye, Sab din hota na Sampanna etc. The Co-Author and Translator
LATE MUNI SRI MOXRATNA VIJAYJI "Some dears and nears, are dead as deers Let some more, torrents of tears." -Y.I. Antar.
'Death is certain and eternal life is not possible'. The truck came from behind and knocked him down headlong...but the peaceful face was smiling.... as if challenging death and its tortures.
The jewel stolen and the light of knowledge vanished forever.... The fatal accident that sucked the life of the rising sun-like or blooming bud like saint Muni Sri Moxratna Vijayji Maharaj... in his very prime youth age 'Twenty nine' years.... was a terrible quake felt by every talented man.
His biography in Hindi Language 'Baras Rahi Akhiyan' written by Muni Rashmiratna Vijayji Maharaj, the Editor of 'The Nightmare is Over,' now widely read has melted the stony and steel hearts of many. Even now, men and women are grieving for him. Seeing his Tap-Tyaga, one is stunned. How could such a young saint do such brave deeds of abandoning tasty things as fruits, sweets and many such worldly pleasures !
