________________ reverently bowing to five paragons of spiritual virtues such as Arihanta, Siddha, Ācārya, Upādhyāya and all monks results in the destruction of all karmic accumulations (Savvapāvappaņāsaņo) and is, therefore, dharma. It is so because the humble activity of bowing to these paragons results in waning of pride and destruction of pride results in karmic destruction. 2. Take the case of affection.
