with our own efforts - the gradual dissolution of obstructions that limit our consciousness.

The sutra mentions three factors. Yet this does not mean that each factor constitutes a path all by itself. Only the combined application of all three factors:
the intuition how to optimally unfold higher insight and experience within us
SUTRAS
- our conscious understanding of the mechanisms that produce this unfolding of consciousness and
- using the abilities and insights gained this way in action
will give us access to dormant levels of our consciousness, that far exceed all Western imagination.
SUTRA 2
तत्त्वार्थश्रद्धानं सम्यग्दर्शनम् ॥ २ ॥

Confidence in the purpose of reality is the origin of our intuitive orientation towards growth (samyag darshana). (2)

The striving for fulfillment (manifestation, realization) of all the values and ideas we feel deep inside us is a fundamental characteristic of our existence.
Reality enables us to express all these ideas, ideals, values and concepts. Reality is a growth-process in which our inner striving for these values becomes physical experience.
