SAHRDAYĀLOKA bhinnaḥ kaiścit kathito bharatamatam samyag a-viditvā, ākāśa-puruşam uddiśya vastu yat pathyate 'thavā kriyate. vişliştodbhata-bhāva-prayogam iha nandi-māli sah, prāyo haricaritam idam svīksta-gāthā"di-varņa-mātraśca. sukumārataḥ prayogād bhāņópi hi bhāņikā bhavati, (This is important) divyabhiścārībhir vivarjitā lalita-karaṇa-samyuktā. tālántarāla-nșttă kvacid api radhvādi-samkalitā, ardhod grāha-nivarana-gāyanasaha-vacana-matta-pālībhiḥ. viśrāmaiś ca vihīnā stri-yojyā varjitais tālaiḥ, vastūni bhāņikāyā nava daśa vā niyamato vidhīyante. nava-mādya-pañcameşu sthāneșu ca bhagnatālaḥ syāt, sthānāntareșu cā’syām
laya-tāla-vidhir yadrcchayā kriyate. The description is very long and contains certain terms that are not clear to us. Śā, reproduces the whole passage at BP. IX. 14-23 (pp. 380, 381). We will compare the readings which are better at places in Sā. But after that (on pp. 381, BP. IX. 23 Cont.) i.e. after the line "viśliştodbhața-bhāva-prayogam iha nandimālī saḥ” - we have some more verses read in Sā., who once again after 40 lines in which the three types of Bhāna are discussed in greater details, once again picks up the thread from Bhoja and continues with 'bhānikā' (on pp. BP. IX. 382).
