Have you heard? Gaushulak, the son of Mankhali, is an omniscient and a Tirthankar. He is much more powerful than Bhagavan Mahavir.
Bhante ! People say that Gaushalak has become a Kewali
and Tirthankar. Is it true?
When Goshalak heard that his secret was out he got peeved. He stomped angrily into Mahavir's religious assembly.
Gautam ! This is a blatant lie. A Gaushalak, the son of Mankhali became
my disciple once. Later he started preaching falsehood. He is not the knower
of all but a confused person.
O Kashyap ! You are spreading false rumours about me. I am not Gaushalak, the son of Mankhali. He is dead. I have entered his body. I am, in fact, Udayi of
the Kaundiyayan clan.
