________________ COMPASSIONATE BHAGAVAN MAHAVIR One day Bhagavan Mahavir was crossing the Ganges river on a boat. A serpent god named Sudanshtra' saw him UWE O Ol Yes! This is Shraman Mahavir, who in his earlier birth was Triprishtha Vasudev. When I was a lion, it was he who tore me apart and killed me. Today I will certainly take my revenge. Recalling the animosity from earlier birth the serpent god became mad with anger. He created a storm. The boat became unstable and went up and down in the waves. The passengers started crying in distress. Bhagavan Mahavir was sitting undisturbed in meditation. The passengers joined their palms and called for his help Prabho! Today only you can save us. Please bring us out of this predicament. su Mr UMILTU 20 ND WW/91 SI RI W 4 Jain Education International För Person45 ivate Use Only www.jainelibrary.org
