________________ पादाङ्गुलतो बाह्य नाड़ी तिष्ठति चञ्चला । प्रहरैर्दशभिर्ज्ञेयो मृत्युस्तस्य न संशय: ।। V. ४६ ॥ (49) If the pulse of a person exists as restless outside the (toes) from the feet, there is on doubt that his death should be known to occur after ten praharas. पादस्यागुलमध्ये च नाड़ी सोष्णा च जायते । यामैरेकादशमितैर्मुत्युस्तस्य विनिद्दिशेत् ।। V. ५० ॥ ( 50 ) If the pulse of a person inside the toes of the feet becomes hot, his death is indicated after eleven praharas. 36 चरणाङ्गुलमध्ये च नाड़ी शीतवती भवेत् । द्वादशप्रहस्तस्य ज्ञेयो मृत्युविचक्षणैः ।। V. ५१ ।। ( 51 ) If the pulse of a person inside the toes of the feet (or in between the toes) becomes cold, his death should be known by the experienced physicians to take place after twelve praharas. श्रर्द्धाङ्गुलगता नाड़ी शीतला यदि तिष्ठति । त्रिदशप्रहरैस्तस्य मरणं जायते ध्रुवम् ।। V. ५२ ।। ( 52 ) If the pulse of a person going to half a finger ( outside) exists as cold, his death takes places certainly after thirteen praharas. श्रर्द्धाङ्गुलगता नाड़ी सोष्णा वेगवती भवेत् । यामैश्चतुर्दशमितैर्मृत्युर्ज्ञेयो विचक्षणः ( 53 ) If the pulse of a person, going half a finger (outside), becomes hot and accelerated, his death is known by the wise to take place after fourteen praharas.
