At the same time, Vāsudeva who was tremendously overwhelmed by grief, left Aristanemi and chose not so very frequented roads to get back into Dväravati. And that was how Väsudeva saw Somila just ahead of him on the road. Somila saw Vasudeva behind him. He thought he was following him. He felt so terribly frightened that his heart just stopped beating. He collapsed on the road and died instantaneously, right under the nose of Vasudeva Krsna as the Great Master Aristanemi had predicted. Krsna had no doubt that the dead man was the killer of his dear brother. He got a few cândalas to drag away the body of the Brahmin and clean the place where the body was lying by sprinkling holy water.
