proof of the existence of soul, in whom there is evident quality of consciousness, illuminating self & non-self (other than soul).
दूसरा पद :—'आत्मा नित्य है। घट, पट आदि पदार्थ अमुक कालमें ही रहते हैं । आत्मा त्रिकालवर्ती है। घट, पट आदि संयोगजन्य पदार्थ हैं। आत्मा स्वाभाविक पदार्थ है, क्योंकि उसकी उत्पत्तिके लिये कोई भी संयोग अनुभवमें नहीं आता। किसी भी संयोगी द्रव्यसे चेतन-सत्ता प्रगट होने योग्य नहीं है, इसलिये वह अनुत्पन्न है। वह असंयोगी होनेसे अविनाशी है, क्योंकि जिसकी किसी संयोगसे उत्पत्ति नहीं होती, उसका किसीमें नाश भी नहीं होता। Second Pada (spiritual step):- soul is everexistent. Substances like pot, cloth etc. are existent for a certain time; soul is existent in all the three times. Pot, cloth etc. are substances by virtue of combinations, soul is a substances by virtue of inborn nature, because for its origination there are not any experiencable combinations. Consciousness entity is not capable of being originated by any permutations & combinations of substances, therefore it is uncreated. On account
