अध्याय-२* CHAPTER Two
अन्तवन्त इमे देहा नित्यस्योक्ताः शरीरिणः । अनाशिनोऽप्रमेयस्य तस्मायुध्यस्व भारत ॥ १८ ॥
"Oh Bharata (Arjuna), the Dweller of these bodies is eternal, inparishable and immeasurable, while the bodies themselves are parishable and therefore you have to fight"-18
य एनं वेत्ति हन्तारं यश्चैन मन्यते हतम् । उभौ तौ न विजानीतो नायं हन्ति न हन्यते ॥ १९ ॥ ___ "He who thinks that "This" (Atma - Soul) is the slayer and he who thinks that "This" is being slayed- both of them do not know that It is never slayed nor is It one who slays"-19 न जायते म्रियते वा कदाचिन्
नायं भूत्वा भाविता वा न भूयः । अजो नित्य:शाश्वतोऽयं पुराणो ।
न हन्यते हन्यमाने शरीरे ॥ २० ॥
