(Rev., xxii. 5). b. "... his do'ninion is an everlasting dominion,
which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that
which shall not be destroyed ” (Daniel, vii. 14). c. “And there shall in no wise enter into it anything
that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomi
nation, or inaketh a lie..." (Rev., xxi. 27). d. “For it is impossible that he who has once been
made perfect by love, and feasts eternally and insatiably on the boundless joy of contemplation, should delight in small and grovelling things. For what rational cause remains any more to the man who has gained the light inaccessible for reverting to the good things of the world" (A.N.C.
Lib., xii. 346-347). Such, briefly, is the scheme of the Science of Salvation which has remained hidden from the generality of men thus far. I may say that the same is the teaching of every other rational religion in the world, so that all have really taught the same thing, though owing to the employment of the allegorical style their teachings have appeared to be different and conflicting, the one with another.
Now, I maintain that the real thing is not the dogmatic creed which is the cause of our quarrels with one another and of the wholesale bloodshed that has taken place in the name of religion itself in many countries and in many ages in the past, but the undercurrent of Scientific Thought which has always tended to reinove the differences of belief and to make men feel that they were real brothers to one another.
