(Romans, vi. 6). 8. Desire for sense-indulgence the cause of trouble : a. “For if ye live after the flesh ye shall die "
(Romans, viii. 3). b. “But to be carnally minded is death" (Romans,
viii, 6). C. “For flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit
against the flesh : and these are contrary the one to the other : so that ye cannot do the things
that ye would” (Galatians, v. 17). d. “And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh
with the affections and lusts ..." (Galatians, v. 24). e. "For we which live are always delivered unto death
for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might
be made manifest in our body" (2 Cor., iv. 10). 9. The Path is threefold : a. “Be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only,
deceiving your own selves" (James, i. 22).
