________________ SANNYASA DHARMA (viii) vasitva, the power to win over all beings, (ix) apratighata, moving through solids as if they were empty spaces, (x) antardhyana, to become invisible, (xi) kamarupitva, to become manifold. 4. Taporiddhi or the tapotisaya riddhi, which is of seven kinds, as follows: xix (i) the ugra tapoṛiddhi, which is the capacity to endure unimaginable hardships unflinchingly, (ii) the dipta taporiddhi, is the acquisition of great radiance of the body, and of the power of great endurance, (ii) the tapta taporidhhi, the power to burn up the bodily excrements internally, (iv) the mahā tapoṛiddhi, the acquisition of the power to undertake the greatest forms of asceticism, (v) the ghora-ta poriddhi, the power to remain unaffected by bodily suffering, the inclemency of seasons, and the fear or presence of wild beasts, and the like, (vi) the ghora prakrama riddhi, the acquisi tion of super-normal will-power in the accomplishment of tapascharaṇa under the most trying of conditions, (vii) the ghora brahmacharya taporiddhi, the accomplishment of the supremely unfal Jain Education International 145 For Private & Personal Use Only www.jainelibrary.org
