6. A folio of the “London manuscript” in Los Angeles?
In summer 1990, through Dr. Gourishwar Bhattacharya (Berlin) who had been consulted by Dr. Pratapaditya Pal, I was sent for identification two black and white photographs of the recto and verso of a Jain manuscript page belonging to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA). The back of the photographs has: “Number TR. 9428, Unknown manuscript page, 1453. Opaque watercolors and ink on paper, 27 x 12,1 cm”.
