* In sandhi 1, the original scribe has wrongly given the number “6” to two successive ka avakas, which resulted in a wrong numbering of ka avakas 7 to 16. A later reader has indicated the correct numbers above the wrong ones in smaller size. * Occasional copying mistakes have been corrected by another hand in the margins or above the lines. * Some folios are written in a script of larger size than the rest. They may be replacement folios. * This manuscript ends with folio 41 verso. * In its present form it has 34 illustrated pages with colourful paintings in a lively style. Its complete form is likely to have had roughly double that number if we compare this manuscript with other ones of the same work (see Section 5).
The text can be identified as Raidhū's work beyond doubt, through the internal colophons which close chapter 1 and chapter 2 respectively: iya siriJasahara-rāya-carie daya-lakkhaņa-dhammabhāvaņā-sarie siri-pam iya-Raidhū-viraie siri-mahābhavva-Hemarāja-nāmāmkie Jasahara-uppattipayāsaņo pa hamo samdhi pariccheu / (folio 19 verso-20 recto) iya siriJasahara-rāya-carie daya-lakkhaņa-dhammabhāvaņā-sarie siri-pam iya-Raidhū-virai(e) siri-mahābhavva-Hemarāja-sāhu-nāmāmkie pimmhamaya-kukku a-devi-vali-vihāna-vannano nāma bium sandhi paricheu / (folio 37 verso)
The two colophon pages are highlighted visually by a painting of Mahāvīra's seated in padmāsana located in the centre. The Jina is surmounted by the three parasols. Two lions are depicted at the basis of his throne (simhāsana). He is being fanned by two chowrie-bearers.
