How long, O Lord! are the diameter and the perimeter of the mass of darkness said to be? Gautama! they (the diameter and perimeter) are said to be of two types--- spread to numerable yojanas and innumerable yojanas. Among the two, what is said to be spread to numerable yojanas is numerable thousand yojanas in diameter and innumerable thousand yojanas in perimeter. What is said to be spread to innumerable yojanas is innumerable yojanas in diameter and innumerable yojanas in perimeter (there being innumerable varieties of
