The Jains through Time
Sometimes great illusions are harboured under
the banner of revolution. We have a clear example in front of us at present. Every day we see protest marches, arson, riots, strikes, shut-downs and sit-ins. These are nothing but
instances of a mass delusion which in this modern age is deceiving human minds under the guise of revolution. True revolution does not lie in inciting people, fanning the flames of their discontent, or making them agitated and
full of tension. True revolutionaries are those who open up new horizons of thinking, infuse
new feelings in men's hearts, generate new possibilities, unveil new dimensions to life,
and guide people in the right direction.
