ADDITIONAL NOTE.
1. Siddhasena Divakara, the author of Kalyanamandira, lived before Manatunga. It is the style of writing that is different in different authors. It does not allow us to conjecture that the one whose style is easier copied it from one whose style is difficult. Siddhasena Divakara wrote Dvātrimsadvātriṁsikā in difficult language. The work at present found is in the first 20 Dvātriṁsikās and is published by Jain Dharma Prasaraka Sabha, Bhāvanagar. Hemacandra even refers to Siddhasena Divākara saying: Anusiddhasenam kavayaḥ ( 94: 1). I cannot say how far the argument of my old friend, Dr. Jacobi, that Kalyāṇamandira appeared after Manatunga, will hold good.
