________________ 145 yet can preserve life and make all kinds of developments in the body of the invisible being. The Jain scriptures also accept the existence of such beings in this world or the other worlds and call them by the name of "Vyantara Devas". They have their own characteristics, temperaments and habits etc. Being invisible they possess certain powers and can do things which man cannot. But all the same concentration of mind is only possible with human body of flesh and blood. The minds of Devas ( gods) or Vyantras or such invisible beings, are far more fluid, quick and sentimental; as such concentration of mind, capable of leading to emancipation or Moksha, is not possible with such bodies. Of course they have a very great freedom of movement and pleasure and enjoiment; they do not require food etc; they are free from worldly worries; therefore they are far more happier than human beings. Yet they cannot get Moksha or Nirvan. For achieving Moksha they must reincarnate as a human being. Moksha means Eternal Bliss and freedom from pain, suffering, worries, pangs of rebirths etc. 19
