such as are injurious. There is also the tendency to unjustly accuse other people, when in sorrow.
FEAR. Fear stops right action, very many wrong actions can be ultimately traced to fear. Fear is replaced by the desire to do good, to others, by sympathy; the more there is of benevolence the less there is of fear.
DISGUST is an obstruction to knowledge and to right action. Instead of going further into the matter, you are disgusted and stop knowing about it; there should be the recognition that the thing can only exist in those circumstances. A disgusting smell of decaying fish, for instance.
SEX PASSION. The sex passion that is to be found in men; the sex passion that is to be found among women ; and the sex passion that is to be found in those who have no sexual signs ; but still they have the passion and theirs is the strongest of all. When a person is under the influence of the sexual passion, he is not conscious of what is right and what is wrong.
So we have 28 mohaniya karmas ; they can be compared to an alcoholic liquor ; they intoxicate.
SIXTH LECTURE, As the karmas are foreign substances obscuring the qualities of the soul, it follows that upon the removal of them the soul's qualities become actual.
