TEERTH DARSHAN GUIDE FOR A PILGRIMAGE TO ANCIENT JAIN SHRINES
The Ancient Jain Temples of India are rich in Art & Architecture, apart from being the Divine Power houses exerting positive spiritual influence in the mind and soul of the pilgrims visiting here. They are scattered all over the country located in peaceful and serene atmosphere, having a legendary past and are a part of the rich cultural heritage of India.
"Teerth Darshan” is an illustrative multi-colour encyclopaedia published in a set of 3 volumes, covering almost all the ancient Jain Pilgrim Centers in India. It is recently published in English to cater the International demand, but since each volume consist of approx. 240 pages and nearly 200 photos, printed on imported best quality Art Paper and specially machine bound, the book becomes rich in quality, content and importance, and at the same time it is bulky to handle or carry while travel or on a pilgrimage trip. Hence in order to protect the durability and sanctity of the sacred “Teerth Darshan" volumes, we decided to prepare and separately publish a small handy booklet, which does not contain pictures of any God or Guru, but has all the information relating to the location, route (with map), facilities / amenities available, address and phone Nos. etc. and about the chief deity, pertaining to each and every Ancient Jain Pilgrim Center in India (Teerth), which find place in the
