Initiation
His time for initiation drew near and Lokantik Gods came to remind him for the initiation. Observing the miseries that living beings had to experience, Parshvakumar developed a high degree of detachment. At the age of 30 he renounced everything in the world and became a possession less monk. Before he set out for renunciation of the world, charity custom began to relinquish all the worldly wealth for the one year. After completion of the charity work, he embraced the royal path to salvation. At this stage he attained fourth Gyan called Manah Paryaya. He spent most of his time meditating in search of ultimate bliss.
Last and final encounter with Kamath
Kamath was too much annoyed by interference of Parshva in his penance but was unable to do anything at that time. He started observing more severe penance and at the end of his life, was reborn as Meghmali Dev. Once ,Parshwa was meditating near "Ahichatra" town at present in UP. He was so concentrated vigorously in the meditations, he had forgotten the outer world and was totally in his own self, Kamath, saw this opportunity to take revenge. He came down to earth and started harassing Parshwa by all possible means. By his supernatural power, he brought forth all kinds of fierce an harmful animals like elephants, lions, leopards, snakes etc but did not get success. He then produced with the help of his divine power the huge gathering of th dark clouds and it started raining heavily with horrible thunderstorms and lightening. He did it so vehemently and dangerously that the outskirts of the Ahicato town was submerged with the flood waters. The water rose to the level of the nose of Parshwa. The throne of Dharnendra shook. He used his divine knowledge to know the cause of the shaking. He realized the matter. He understood his important dutie and with his queen Padmavati, rushed to the spot of scene at once. They came there and paid salute to the Parshwa. Realizing their duties, Padmavati generate beautiful huge lotus. She sat under the lotus and kept Parshwa, who was in the standing posture at that time in the lotus. Dharnendra spread his fangs all aroun the head and sides of the Parshva so as to protect him from the rains Now as the water level grew; the lotus moved in the upward direction and due to snake hoo shelter Parshwa was protected from the obstacles produced by the Kamath. Dharnendra, told Kamath to withdraw his divine power and allow Parshwa to meditate smoothly. Adamant Kamath did not listen to the advices and starte quarreling with Dharnendra. Ultimately, Dharnendra won over Klamath. Kamath and Dharnendra were doing their respective jobs, one for destruction an other for protectinon respectively, but Parshwa was neither had attachment to Dharnendra nor did he had spate for Kamath. He was "STHITPRAGYA" in terms Bhagwad Gita and "Vitragi" in terms of Jainism
