Acharya Shri Amrender Muni Ji was overcome with emotion when he heard these words of the Mother and said: “Truly you have found the highest fulfilment in service to others. In the eyes of Lord Mahavir also, one who serves the poor is worthy of praise. Just worshipping God by chanting his name is incomplete worship. We must learn to walk on the path of humanity in accordance with God's will.” Acharya Shri Amrender Muni Ji then recited these words of a poem which filled Mother Teresa's heart with joy:
“Mubarak hai woh jo doosron ke liye,
Apne dil mein dard rakhtey hain. Aankhon mein ansoo, lab pe aahein sard rakhtey hain."
Blessed is he who feels the pain of others, their tears in his eyes, their sighs on his lips.".
