He recently presided over a large meeting to celebrate the 300th year of the establishment of the Sikh religion at the special request of Sikh priests and leaders. This shows the wide respect and affection in which they hold him. Millennium World Peace Summit - United Nations, New York - 28th to 31st August 2000.
At the historic prayer meeting organised during the United Nation Millennium Peace Conference , Acharya Shri Amrender Muni Ji stated that Hindu, Muslim, Jain and Buddhist, Sikh, Christian and Parsis-all religions and sects are merely different paths which take us to the same goal. The travellers on these paths should live peacefully together and help each other. We should have friendly feelings towards all and wish for their betterment.
This conference, organised to foster peace and brotherhood is a very important conference. In this conference, in addition to Guruji, a saint from the Navterapanth called Roop Chandra Ji Maharaj and other representatives of the Jain community were present.
