a question and answer session with guruji
1. Guruji, what is your mission in life?
The main aim of my life is, that while remaining absorbed in my spiritual pursuits, I should be able to spread the principles of nonviolence of Lord Mahavir and help create a society where there is no conflict of any kind. A society where everyone lives together in peace and brotherhood, where people are loving and supportive of each other and where they follow vegetarianism and work towards world peace.
2.
It is said that the Guru comes when the shishya (disciple) is ready. What is that state of readiness that draws the Guru to the shishya? The state of readiness" mentioned above refers to a state of longing for the divine and a desire for the Guru to appear in one's life. When this desire is so intense that one is filled with a sense of longing and surrender the Guru has no option but to come. A Guru will definitely be drawn to a soul with such a strong craving.
What expectations do you have from your disciples? Do you have any rules that they must follow? The Guru expects only one thing from his disciples and that is that they should tread the path of righteousness. By this I mean they should develop "satvik" (pure) tendencies and mental habits.
