Amrender Muni Ji Maharaj
Amrender Muni Ji Maharaj is a Jain monk who has devoted his life to world peace and the betterment of humanity. He is a disciple of Acharya Sushil Muni Ji Maharaj, the first Jain monk to have travelled abroad.
Amrender Muni Ji Maharaj's dedicated service to humanity has been recognised by various organisations and he has been conferred with several awards including the title of Shantidoot (Messenger of Peace) conferred on him by the Shankaracharyas in 1996.
Amrender Muni Ji is based in New Jersey, USA but travels the world over and has visited more than 46 countries to spread his message of peace, non violence and tolerance. During the numerous peace conferences that he has addressed, His Holiness has met with all the prominent world leaders including President Clinton, Mikhail Gorbachev, Giani Zail Singh and Dr. Manmohan Singh, to name just a few.
