In the morning when he prostrated himself at the feet of Shri Shukal Chand Ji Maharaj, the Guru smilingly asked: Amar, tell me, what did you see in your dream last night?
Amar told him everything. Guruji smiled and said that was indeed his own beloved Guru Shri Kashiram Ji Maharaj whose darshan (vision) Amar had been longing for.
“I will not return to Delhi”
Amar spent a blissful three days in Kandla at the feet of his Gurudev. Then it was time to go home but Amar was not ready to return home. When he heard his friend talking about going back he started crying loudly. Gurudev heard the noise and came out to see what the fuss was all about. Amar explained that he wanted to stay with him and did not want to go back to Delhi. He said that there were still ten more days of holiday left and that he would telephone his parents and get their permission to stay on.
He telephoned his mother, and to his great joy she agreed. So Amar got his wish to stay on for another 10 days.
However those ten days seemed to fly past. Amar's heart had still not had enough of his Gurudev and he refused to go back even after the 10 days were over.
His parents got very alarmed and decided that things had gone far enough. They took the next train to Kandla and arrived at the Ashram. There they forced Amar to agree to return with them to Delhi.
Amar realized that there was no way out for him now. He told Gurudev that he had to go and entreated Guruji to bless him. He also requested Gurudev to tell him where he would be going next so that he could try and come to him there.
