Childhood
Amrender Muni Ji was born on the 12th of April 1949 to Shri Motiram Ji Khatri and Shrimati Kartar Devi. His parents were simple God fearing folk, and when their son was born, they looked on his arrival as a blessing from God.
They named him "Amar” which in Hindi means “immortal".
They did not know it then, but their son was truly a divine child, a blessing from God.
When Amar was a child his mother was his first Guru, and he would help her with her daily prayer rituals of pooja.
