You Speak to Me on the Wind
You first came to me when our eyes first met, before a word was spoken. Our souls met in your eyes...eyes I'd been waiting for, eyes that were recognizable instantly from lifetimes past. Yet, here you were waiting for me to enter the room. I was not surprised, although not expecting, to find you sitting before me. I had been waiting with great patience for you to appear to me. I was overcome. Emotion flowed from my eyes and every pore. I was changed. Now in your physical absence, you come to me on the wind. I listen with rapt attention, full of loving anticipation. I am surrounded, completely encircled, by the warmth of your energetic presence. You speak to me with the wind's rustling of dried leaves, the murmuring of waving grasses, the gusto of a storm's approach, the audible path of the wind across the water, the gentleness of a summer breeze. You speak to me on the same wind that carries winged creatures. You first gave me wings by naming me Kinry. As your disciple, I became Kokila, something I realized by your grace that I always was. I seek to honor you by following the path you have lovingly and graciously laid before me. Only with your abundant blessings am I coming full circle. The same current of air on which winged creatures soar, the very breath of air that breathes us, is the wind upon which you come to me. I wait with the open arms of my heart to feel your peace and love and accept your blessings many. I return my honor, deepest gratitude and devotion to you in the same manner...on the wind. Your loving disciple,
