Humanitarianism is essential:
Swami Ramtirth says ' It is easy to be an M.A... but difficult to be a MAN'. All the problems start from human beings straying away from the essential quality of“ humanness". Personal, family, social, national and international...all problems can be solved if we but have sensitivity, a human approach and a loving attitude.
How aptly Socrates has put it: A human being becomes great to the extent that he works for the well being of other humans.
On one pole is a human being , with the qualities of humanity (manavta) and at the other extreme is an animal with the qualities of "danavta”. If we remove “danavta” we are automatically left with “manavta”.
Don't lose self confidence:
Several times we face circumstances which cause us to feel disheartened. At such times if we do not lose confidence and faith, then automatically we draw strength from somewhere and are able to surmount our difficulties. Those who bow their heads and give up, lose the battle...those who hold their heads high and fight on, are victorious.
