स्वामिन् ! सुदूरमवनम्य समुत्पतन्तो । मन्ये वदन्ति शुचयः सुरचामरौघाः ।। येस्मै नतिं विदधते मुनिपुंगवाय । ते नूनमूर्ध्वगतयः खलु शुद्धभावाः ।।२२।। હે સ્વામી ! ભૂમિ સુધી અતિશય નીચે નમીને ઉપર આવતાં (વીંજાતાં) પવિત્ર એવાં દેવો સંબંધી ચામરોનો સમૂહ આ પ્રમાણે કહેતો હોય એમ અમને લાગે છે કે જે મનુષ્યો મુનિઓમાં શ્રેષ્ઠ (એવા પાર્શ્વનાથ પ્રભુ)ને નમસ્કાર કરશે (અર્થાત્ ભૂમિ સુધી નમશે) તે મનુષ્યો ખરેખર શુદ્ધ સ્વભાવવાળા થયા છતા અવશ્ય (અમારી જેમ જ) ઊર્ધ્વ ગતિ તરફ જનારા થશે. //રરા.

O Lord ! The group of chowries of the gods, which is waving up by going so low as to touch the ground, seems to be telling us that those of us human beings who will bend so low as to touch the ground while bowing down to this holy monk, will surely purify their nature and attain to the sublime status. 1|22|| આઠમું સ્મરણ-૧૭૮
