1978 In additioa to this, we also find some smaller commentaries of Pannavana. Muni Punyavijaya has meitioned the commentary named “Bījaka' by Harsakulagani'.! In Muni Punyavijaya's "Introduction to Prajñāpana" and in
Jinaratnakośa' we find mention of 'puryāya'. "Prajñāpanā-sútra-sároddhara" is also mentioned in Jiniratnakośa'.
Acarya Malayagiri mentio:as cūrņi and Vyddhayrakhya in his Vrtti? Cúrņi is untraceable at present. Malayagiri's commentary is the most elaborate among all the available commentariesĀcārya Haribhadra Sūri's commentary is the most origiual and basic too.
JAMBUDDIYAPANNATTI
Nomenclature
This canon is known as Jambuddivapannatti (Jambūdvipaprajñapri). Prajñāpti means exposition, information or treatment. It contains the cxposition of Jambūdvīpa, hence it is called Jambūdvipap ajñapti. Sthānanga sutra mentions four ungabāhya prajñapris---(1) Candraprajñupti, (2) Süryaprajñapti, (3) Jumbidvípaprajñapti, and (4) Drīpasāgaraprajñupti.' In Kasāyopõhudu, projñaptis have been classified as the five arthadhikaras of 'parikarma' which is the first division of Drsțivada-(i) Candraprajñapti, (2) Suryaprajñapti, (3) Jambūdvipuprajñapti, (4) Dvipasāgara prajñapti and (5) Vyākhyāprujñapti.* In Nandi, Jumbūdvipaprujñapti
