जैसे कि अभिजित नक्षत्र चन्द्र के साथ २१ । ६७ भाग गमन करता है तो सूर्य के साथ कितना गंमन करता है ? यह जानने के लिये २१ भाग को ५ से भाग देने पर ४ दिवस १ । ५ भाग मुहूर्त आते हैं। १।५ मुहूर्त निकालने के लिये ३० से गुणा करने पर ६ मुहूर्त आते हैं। जिसका आशय यह हुआ कि अभिजित नक्षत्र सूर्य के साथ ४ दिवस ६ मुहूर्त योग करता है। इस प्रकार अन्य स्थान पर भी समझना चाहिये। १५ मुहूर्त चन्द्र के साथ योग करने पर नक्षत्र का सूर्य के साथ योगकाल
शतभिषा नक्षत्र चन्द्र के साथ १ दिवस के ६७ भाग में से ३३% भाग योग करता है, तो सूर्य के साथ कितने दिवस और कितने मुहूर्त योग करता है ?
अतः ६ दिवस ७ । १० मुहूर्त सूर्य के साथ योग करता है।
१. के मुहूर्त जानने के लिये ३० से गुणा करने पर २१ मुहूर्त आते हैं । अर्थात् शतभिषा नक्षत्र का सूर्य के साथ ६ दिवस और २१ मुहूर्त योग होता है।
