माँ सरस्वती का आह्वान
चतुर्भुजां चन्द्रवर्णां चतुरानन वल्लभाम् । आवाहयामि वाग्देवं वीणा पुस्तक धारिणीम ||
Chaturbhujaam chandravarnaam chuturaanan vallabhaam
Aavaahyaami vaagdevim veena pustak dhaarinim
हे चन्द्र के समान वर्ण वाली, चार भुजा वाली चतुरानन (ब्रह्मा) की प्रिय देवी! मैं आपका आह्वान करता हूँ - हे वाणी की अधिष्ठात्री देवी जो वीणा और पुस्तक
धारण किए रहती हैं | O four armed moon complexioned beloved (Goddess) of the Creator Brahma !
I invoke thee, O Goddess of Speech, holding the lute and the book !
ललितापञ्चकम्
प्रातः स्मरामि ललितावदनारविन्दं बिम्बाधरं पृथुलमौक्तिकशोभिनासम् ।
आकर्ण दीर्घनयनं मणि कुण्डलाढ्यं मन्दस्मितं मृगमदोज्जवलभालदेशम् |१|
Praataha smaraami lalitaavadanaaravidum Bimbaadharam pruthulamouktimkashobhinaasam Aakarnum deerghanayanum mani kundalaadhyum
Mandasmitum mrugmdojjavalabhaaladesham
Early in the morning, I concentrate upon that enchanting lotus like visage of Sri
Lalita whose lips are deep red like the BIMBA flower, the nose bedlight with a pearl pendant; whose eyes as big as to be spreading upto the ears wearing the jewelled rings and whose forehead has a comely musk mark. Her smiling face
appears very captivating.
