All the planets and the like (here constellations and stars should also be considered) have four head-goddesses each namely Vijaya, Vaijayanti, 卐 Jayanti and Aparjita. Thus all the 176 planets have chief-goddesses of

(१) अंगारक, (२) विकालक, (३) लोहितांक, (४) शनैश्चर, (५) आधुनिक, (६) प्राधुनिक, क (७) कण, (८) कणक, (९) कणकणक, (१०) कणवितानक, (११) कणसन्तानक, (१२) सोम,
(१३) सहित, (१४) आश्वासन, (१५) कार्योपग, (१६) कुर्बुरक, (१७) अजकरक, (१८) दुन्दुभक, 卐 (१९) शंख, (२०) शंखनाभ, (२१) शंखवर्णाभ।
यों भावकेतु पर्यन्त ग्रहों का उच्चारण करना चाहिए। उन सबकी अग्रमहिषियाँ उपर्युक्त नामों की हैं।
(1) Angarak, (2) Vikalak, (3) Lohitank, (4) Shanaishchar, (5) Aadhunik, (6) Pradhunik, (7) Kana, (8) Kanak, (9) Kanakanak, (10) Kanavitaanak, (11) Kanasantanak, (12) Soam, (13) Sahit, (1
Aashvasan, (15) Karyopag, (16) Kurburak, (17) Ajakarak, (1 ___Dundubhak, (19) Shankh, (20) Shankhanabh, (21) Shankhavarnabh.
The planets should be considered upto Bhavaketu. All of them have head-goddesses of above-said names.
विशेष-ग्रहों के २१ नाम मूल आगम में बताये हैं। शेष नाम टीका आदि में वर्णित हैं। भावकेतु ॐ ८८वाँ ग्रह है। जम्बूद्वीप में दो-दो होने से इन्हें दुगुना करने पर ग्रहों की संख्या १७६ होती है। प्रत्येक ग्रह की ४-४ अग्रमहिषियाँ हैं।
Special Mention-In the Agams there are only 21 names of planets. 4. The other names have been mentioned in the commentary. Bhavaketu is

[उ.] गोयमा ! जहण्णेणं चउभागपलिओवमं, उक्कोसेणं पलिओवमं वाससयसहस्समभहि। चंदविमाणे णं देवीणं जहण्णेणं चउभागपलिओवमं उक्कोसेण अद्धपलिओवमं पण्णासाए ॐ वाससहस्सेहिमभहि।
