पुरुष - आप कौन हैं ?
श्रीमहाराज - हम साधु हैं ?
पुरुष - ये क्या हैं ?
श्रीमहाराज- ये साधुओं के धर्म-साधन के उपकरण वस्त्र आदि हैं ।
पुरुष - आप इस स्थान पर से उठ जाइए ।
श्रीमहाराज - क्यों ?
पुरुष - यह वृक्ष गिरने वाला है ।
श्रीमहाराज - इस समय आँधी वगैरह तो कुछ भी नजर नहीं आती दिखाई देती फिर यह क्योंकर गिर जायगा ?
पुरुष - कभी यों भी गिर जाया करते हैं ।
यह सुनकर श्रीमहाराज तथा अन्य साधु जब अन्यत्र जाने लगे तो उस पुरुष कहा कि आप अपने उपकरण भी उठा लें । जब तक आप सब कुछ नहीं उठा लेंगे, तब तक इसके गिरने की सम्भावना नहीं । यह सुन साधुओं ने शान्तिपूर्वक अपने उपकरण उठाए और उनको लेकर दूसरे स्थान पर शान्ति - पूर्वक बैठ गए । तब वह पुरुष अदृश्य हो गया । ठीक उसी समय वृक्ष की जो सब से बड़ी शाखा सारे पुल को घेरे हुए थी, अचानक गिर पड़ी और पुल का सारा रास्ता बन्द हो गया । इसके गिरने का इतना भयंकर शब्द हुआ कि सराय की ओर जाते हुए श्रावकों को भी सुनाई दिया और वे फिर से श्री महाराज के दर्शनों के लिए वहां पहुंच गये । उनको सकुशल पाकर श्रावकों को अतीव आनन्द हुआ और जब उन्होंने ऊपर वाली घटना सुनी तो उनके हर्ष और विस्मय का पारावार ही न रहा और वे लोग श्रीमहाराज की स्तुति करते हुए फिर वापिस चले गये ।
इसी प्रकार अन्य भी कई विस्मय - जनक घटनाएं आपके जीवन में घटी हैं। एक बार आप नाभा से विहार कर पटियाला की ओर जा रहे थे, तब आप को एक जंगली चीता मिला । उसको देखकर आप निर्भीकता से खड़े हो गये । चीता उनकी ओर देखकर शान्ति - पूर्वक जंगल की ओर चला गया । यह आपकी शान्ति और संयम तथा प्रत्येक प्राणी के साथ सम-दृष्टि का प्रभाव था कि एक हिंसक जन्तु भी आपको देखकर
