दशाश्रुतस्कन्धसूत्रम्
दशमी दशा
पराक्रमन् मानुषकेषु काम-भोगेषु निर्वेदं गच्छेत्; मानुषकाः खलु काम-भोगा अधुवा अनित्याः । तथैव यावत्सन्त्यूर्ध्वं देवा देवलोकेषु, ते नु तत्र नान्येषां देवानामन्यां देवीमभियुज्य परिचारयन्ति । आत्मना चैवात्मानं विकृत्य परिचारयन्ति । यद्यस्य तपोनियम-तच्चैव सर्वम्, यावत्स च श्रद्दध्यात् प्रतीयात् रुचिं दध्यान्नायमर्थः समर्थः ।
पदार्थान्वयः-समणाउसो-हे आयुष्मन् ! श्रमण ! एवं खलु-इस प्रकार निश्चय से मए-मैंने धम्मे-धर्म पण्णत्ते-प्रतिपादन किया है तं चेव-शेष वर्णन पूर्व-सूत्रों के समान ही है । से य-और वह निर्ग्रन्थ परक्कमेज्जा -कामोदय होने पर भी संयम-मार्ग में पराक्रम करे परक्कममाणे-और पराक्रम करते हुए माणुस्सएसु-मनुष्य-सम्बन्धी काम-भोगेसुकाम-भोगों में निव्वेदं गच्छेज्जा-वैराग्य को प्राप्त हो जाय क्योंकि माणुस्सगा-मनुष्यों के खलु-निश्चय से काम-भोगा-काम-भोग अधुवा–अध्रुव-अनियत हैं अणितिया-विनाश-शील हैं-तहेव-शेष सब वर्णन पूर्ववत् ही है जाव-यावत् उद्बु-ऊपर देवलोगंसि-देव-लोक में देवा-देव संति-हैं ते-वे तत्थ-वहां अण्णेसिं-अन्य देवाणं-देवों की देविं-देवियों को णो अभिजुंजिय परियारेति-अपने वश में करके नहीं भोगते हैं किन्तु अप्पणो चेक-अपनी ही आत्मा से अप्पाणं-अपने आप को विउवित्ता-स्त्री और पुरुष दो भिन्न शरीरों में भिन्न कर परियारेति-उपभोग करते हैं और अप्पणिज्जियावि-अपनी ही देवीए-देवियों को अभिमुंजिय परियारेति-अपने वश में करके उपभोग के लिए प्रवृत्त कराते हैं । जइ-यदि इमस्स-इस तव-तप नियम-नियम आदि तं चेव-पहले कहे हुए व्रतों का फल-विशेष है तो जाव-यावत् हम भी दैविक भोग भोगें इत्यादि से णं-वह फिर श्रमण या श्रावक से धर्म सनकर उसमें सद्दहेज्जा-श्रद्धा रखे पत्तिएज्जा-विश्वास करे रोएज्जा-रुचि करे णो तिणढे समढे-यह बात सम्भव नहीं ।
