"पूज्य गुरुदेव उत्तर भारतीय प्रवर्तक राष्ट्र सन्त" भगवान कहते हैं-खणभित्त सुक्खा, बहुकाल दुक्खा” अर्थात् सांसारिक पदार्थों में क्षण माग का सुख है और बहुत काल तक चलने वाला दुःख है | आध्यात्मिक चिन्तन से उभरा यह संकेत सूत्र मानव जीवन को शाश्वत सुख की ओर ले जाने में आज भी उतना ही प्रासंगिक और उपयोगी है जितना पूर्व में था ।
यह हमारा भारत वर्ष कृषि प्रधान होते भी मूल में ऋषि प्रधान रहा है । हमारा सम्पूर्ण अतीत इसका साक्षी है कि आरम्भ से ही यहां के महर्षि आचार्यों ने अपने तपो-मप आत्माराधन के द्वारा उस आध्यात्मिक आलोक की सृष्टि की है, जिनके दिव्य प्रकाश में विश्व का सम्पूर्ण मानव समाज आन्तरिक दृष्टि प्राप्त कर जीवन को सही दिशा की ओर अग्रसर बना सके ।
जैन आगमों में जीवन निर्माण, उत्थान और कल्याण के सन्देश और उपदेश तत्कालीन भाषा में ग्रन्थित होने के कारण जन साधारण के लिए अनुपयोगी से होने लगे तब समय-समय पर अनेक आचार्यों ने उनका उस समय की भाषा में अनुवाद कर जनसाधारण के लिए उपयोगी बनया है । ऐसे ही महान आचार्य हुए है परम पूज्य आचार्य श्री आत्माराम जी महाराज जिन्होंने जैन आगमों का न केवल संस्कृत और हिन्दी भाषा में अनुवाद किया बल्कि हिन्दी भाषा में विस्तृत हिन्दी व्याख्या लिखकर सर्वजन सुखाय और सर्वजन हिताय बनाने का महान पराक्रम किया है । वह हिन्दी व्याख्या वाले आगम लगभग ४० वर्ष पूर्व प्रकाशित भी हुए परन्तु अब वे अप्राप्य हो रहे हैं। मेरे प्रशिष्य
