For these four reasons, a newly born god in the divine realm soon 卐 wants to come to the land of humans and is, indeed, able to come. __ अन्धकार-उद्योतादि के चार कारण-पद ANDHAKAR-UDYOT AADI-PAD
(SEGMENT OF DARKNESS, LIGHT ETC.) ४३५. चउहिं ठाणेहिं लोगंधगारे सिया, तं जहा-अरहंतेहिं वोच्छिज्जमाणेहिं, अरहंतपण्णत्ते धम्मे वोच्छिज्जमाणे, पुब्बगते वोच्छिज्जमाणे, जायतेजे वोच्छिज्जमाणे।
४३५. चार कारणों से मनुष्यलोक में अन्धकार होता है।
(१) अर्हन्तों -तीर्थंकरों के विच्छेद-शरीर छोड़कर मोक्ष में चले जाने पर, (२) तीर्थंकरों द्वारा प्ररूपित धर्म के विच्छेद-लोप या लोकों में धर्म के प्रति उदासीनता होने पर, (३) पूर्व (चौदह पूर्व
शास्त्र) श्रुत के विच्छेद-उनका अध्ययन-अध्यापन बन्द होने अथवा पूर्वधरों का देवलोक होने पर, फ़ (४) जाततेजस् के विच्छेद-दुषम आरे के अन्तिम दिन भरत और ऐरवत क्षेत्र में बादर अग्नि का , लोप हो जाने पर।
435. There are four reasons for spread of darkness in manushyalok 15 (human realm or the land inhabited by humans)-(1) on vichchhed i (extinction or nirvana) of Arihants (Tirthankars), (2) on vichchhed (extinction) of or apathy for the religion propagated by Arhat, (3) one vichchhed (extinction or termination of study and teaching) of Purvagat
Shrut (the subtle canon) or death of scholars of these, and (4) on 卐 vichchhed (extinction or disappearance) of jaat-tejas (the gross fire that 卐
disappears from Bharat and Airavat areas on the last day of the Dukham epoch).
४३६. चउहिं ठाणेहिं लोउज्जोते सिया, तं जहा-अरहंतेहिं जायमाणेहिं, अरहंतेहिं पव्वयमाणेहिं, अरहंताणं णाणुप्पायमहिमासु, अरहंताणं परिनिव्वाणमहिमासु।
४३६. चार कारणों से मनुष्यलोक में उद्योत (प्रकाश) होता है-(१) अर्हन्तों-तीर्थंकरों के र उत्पन्न होने पर, (२) अर्हन्तों के प्रव्रजित (दीक्षित) होने के अवसर पर, (३) अर्हन्तों को केवलज्ञान म उत्पन्न होने की महिमा के अवसर पर, (४) अर्हन्तों के निर्वाण कल्याण (मोक्ष गमन) की महिमा के है अवसर पर।
436. There are four reasons for spread of light in the land inhabited 卐 by humans-(1) at the time of birth of Arihants, (2) at the time of
initiation of Arihants, (3) at the time of celebrating the attainment of Keval jnana (omniscience) by Arihants, and (4) at the time of celebrations of the Nirvana Kalyanak (the auspicious occasion of nirvana) of Arihants.
