Elaboration-Balahak-Clouds visible in a variety of forms in the sky are lifeless and thus they do not have the power of transmutation. However, natural transformation takes place in clouds as well. For this reason in place of viuvvittaye (transmuted) the term used here is parinammetaye (transformed). Transforming into a variety of shapes, including that of a woman, cloud moves. But it does not move of its own power, own karma and its own effort. It moves under divine influence or other factors including air covering large distances.
उत्पन्न होने योग्य जीवों की लेश्या LESHYA OF SOULS DESTINED TO BE BORN
११. [ प्र. ] जीवे णं भंते ! जे भविए नेरइएसु उववज्जित्तए से णं भंते! किंलेसेसु उववज्जति ? [उ.] गोयमा ! जल्लेसाइं दव्वाइं परियाइत्ता कालं करेइ तल्लेसेसु उववज्जइ । तं जहा - कण्हलेसेसु वा नीललेसेसु वा काउलेसेसु वा । एवं जस्स जा लेस्सा सा तस्स भाणियव्या ।
१२. [ प्र. ] जीवे णं भंते! जे भविए जोइसिएसु उववज्जित्तए पुच्छा ?
[उ. ] गोयमा ! जल्लेसाइं दव्वाइं परियाइत्ता कालं करेइ तल्लेसेसु उववज्जइ, तं जहा - तेउलेस्सेसु ।
११. [प्र. ] भगवन् ! जो ( मरणोन्मुख) जीव, नैरयिकों में उत्पन्न होने वाला है, वह कौन-सी लेश्या वालों में उत्पन्न होता है ?
[उ.] गौतम ! वह जीव जिस लेश्या के द्रव्यों को ग्रहण करके काल करता है, उसी लेश्या वाले नारकों में उत्पन्न होता है। यथा - कृष्णलेश्या वालों में, नीललेश्या वालों में, अथवा कापोतलेश्या वालों में। इस प्रकार जो जिसकी लेश्या हो, उसकी वह लेश्या कहनी चाहिए।
१२. [ प्र. ] भगवन् ! जो जीव ज्योतिष्कों में उत्पन्न होने वाला है, वह किन लेश्याओं में उत्पन्न होता है ?
[उ.] गौतम ! जिस लेश्या के द्रव्यों को ग्रहण करके जीव काल करता है, वैसी लेश्या वालों में वह उत्पन्न होता है। जैसे-तेजोलेश्या वालों में ।
11. [Q.] Bhante ! In which leshya (soul complexion) group is born a being (about to die) destined to be born among infernal beings?
[Ans.] Gautam ! It is born among the same leshya (soul complexion) group of infernal beings as the leshya (hue) of the matter particles (karmas) he acquires at the time of death. For example-among those with Krishnaleshya, Neel-leshya or Kapot-leshya. This way the leshya specific to each should be stated.
12. [Q.] Bhante ! In which leshya (soul complexion) group is born a being (about to die ) destined to be born among Jyotishks (Stellar gods ) ?
