[Q.2] Bhante ! Why is it said that the divine opulence (displayed by Ishanendra) was drawn into and disappeared within his own body?
[Ans.] Gautam ! Suppose there is a cone shaped (like hill-top) camouflaged house (kutakar-shala), large and deep underground. It is plastered within and outside with cow-dung. It is surrounded by a parapet wall and has strong and air-tight but concealed doors... and so on up to... the example of kutakar-shala should be cited here.

If that crowd suddenly sees dark rain bearing clouds or a terrible storm approaching, it at once enters that camouflaged house and disappears. २४. [प्र. ] ईसाणेणं भंते ! देविंदेणं देवरण्णा सा दिव्या देविड्ढी दिव्या देवजुती दिब्वे देवाणुभागे किण्णालद्धे ? किण्णापत्ते ? किण्णा अभिसमन्नागए ? के वा एस आसि पुवभवे ? किंणामए वा ? + किंगोत्ते वा ? कतरंसि वा गामंसि वा नगरंसि वा जाव सत्रिवेसंसि वा ? किं वा सोच्चा ? किं वा दच्चा ?

[उ. ] एवं खलु गोयमा ! तेणं कालेणं तेणं समएणं इहेव जंबुद्दीवे दीवे भारहे वासे तामलित्ती नामंज नगरी होत्था। वण्णओ। तत्थ णं तामलित्तीए नगरीए तामली नामं मोरियपुत्ते गाहावती होत्था। अड्ढे दित्ते जाव बहुजणस्स अपरिभूए यावि होत्था। - २४.
